Emily has been working with animals for 10 years. Emily started her career working with dogs, cats, rabbits (and a few other species) within animal shelters and has spent the second half of her career working as a Veterinary Nurse and now Animal Behaviour Trainer!

Emily has always been interested in behaviour and holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences majoring in Psychology. Upon completion of this degree Emily worked in the mental health field before discovering her passion for working with animals. This education and experience  has greatly helped in transitioning to studying and working with animals and also their human families. 

Emily is currently undertaking a Diploma of Animal Behaviour and Technology through CASI and holds an Associate Degree of Veterinary Nursing via La Trobe and a certificate II in Animal Studies.

Emily is also proudly a certified Fear Free Professional and enjoys working with dogs who are fearful with handling. 

Emily is a co-founder of Treat Me Right and is very passionate about animal welfare and improving the lives of our companion animals and is interested in the human-animal bond. She strives to help create a good relationship between people and their companion animals through training and enrichment.
